Abstract
			In the vocational English class, teachers should actively adopt innovative teaching methods to stimulate interest in learning. Aiming at the status quo of English education in higher vocational colleges, the paper discusses the function and significance of promoting English education background, goal, development and improving the efficiency and quality of English education in higher vocational schools.
