Abstract

In order to solve the increasingly serious security problem of web database, we established a Web database security middleware between web application program and web database. The platform independence and maintainability of middleware are realized by using the design concept based on web services and components and Java technology. Web database is controlled and managed by security middleware from four aspects: identity authentication, data encryption/decryption, and vulnerability detection and operation audit. It effectively improves the security of Web database in the network environment.
