Abstract
English translation teaching is an important part of college English teaching. In the process of English translation teaching, students have insufficient understanding of the cultural background and customs of Western countries, and it is difficult for them to effectively convert the English word order, which makes it difficult to translate English into Chinese and not conform to the expression habit of the target language, thus reducing the translation efficiency. This paper makes discussion on the specific teaching of college English translation based on the perspective of pragmatics.
