Abstract
Confucius was the founder of Confucianism and the most influential thinker, politician and educator in China. Moral education is a kind of social activity to educate people to be human beings. Confucius thought that moral education should take precedence over intellectual education, which can achieve a wide range of social benefits driven by one person. Focusing on moral education is the core of his thought, which has rich connotations. Under the new historical conditions, especially in the period of social transformation, some new problems have arisen. In Confucius's thought, moral education is a very important part of a person's growth process, and it is also the top priority of Confucius teaching practice. Digging deeper into Confucius's moral education has a very important enlightening effect on the ideological and political education of contemporary college students. This paper combines the conditions needed to construct a socialist harmonious society, and makes a preliminary discussion on the part or aspect of Confucius's moral education that is conducive to building a harmonious socialist society.
