Abstract

MOOC can provide a relatively perfect network learning platform for college students, which has won the unanimous praise of domestic college students, and has also played a certain role in promoting the reform of English teaching in domestic colleges and universities. With the development of higher education, the concept of general English teaching in Colleges and universities has been attached great importance. The implementation of general English teaching in Colleges and universities needs to construct a diversified English curriculum system in higher education stage, and the teaching objectives, teaching content, teaching mode and curriculum evaluation mode of English curriculum in Colleges and universities need to be changed concretely. Under the background of college English general education and "MOOC", re-interpreting the various elements of college English teaching, aiming at finding a new teaching model innovation combining college English traditional teaching mode and modern Internet technology. The application of MOOC teaching in college English breaks the boundaries of traditional English teaching mode and follows the subjective status of students, which is of great significance for the realization of English general teaching.
