Abstract

Objective: To explore technological advances in the medical field. Method: DEA method. Results: During the study period, the total factor productivity of regional medical care in China continued to increase; technological progress was an important reason for the improvement of total factor productivity; the improvement of total factor productivity in the central and western regions was faster. Conclusion: The incentive arrangement for the new medical reform has improved the level of technological progress in the medical field.
