Abstract

In application-oriented talent training mode, the research and practice of major courses reform in English major are extremely urgent. It is particularly important for English reading reform in English major courses. This paper mainly elaborates the advantages of digital English reading teaching in application-oriented talent training mode. Digital English teaching has achieved rich contents of English reading, has created an open environment for English reading, has ensured that the content is updated in a timely manner in English reading and has realized the change of students' role in English reading.
