Abstract

Xingjie is played by Jiangnan Sizhu, the string and bamboo flute music of Chinese traditional folk instrument music. The lute, Qinqin, xiao, flute, Yangqin and erhu are used in the band of Jiangnan Sizhu. It has a profound history in local folk for wedding or funeral, or temple fairs. This paper analyzes the artistic characteristics of Xingjie, the erhu solo of Jiangnan Sizhu [1].
