Abstract
High-speed railway construction is closely related to the level of economic development and urbanization, and promotes each other. High-speed rail has strengthened the radiation capacity of large cities and enhanced the influence of regional economy. The spatial pattern of tourism urban agglomeration is gradually shifting from developed to underdeveloped, from big cities to small and medium-sized cities. The accessibility of fringe areas will be expanded and optimized, and the accessibility gap between inside and outside areas will be narrowed. This change is affecting the tourism industry in urban agglomerations. Under the background of regional transportation network, economic development integration and regional tourism integration driven by high-speed rail, regional tourism economic links have been further strengthened. This paper first introduces the impact of high-speed rail on regional economy, and then focuses on the impact and mechanism of high-speed rail on regional tourism economic development.
