Abstract

Military development needs advanced military theory as guidance. The penetrating and forward-looking military theory research must not only draw on the existing research results and practical experience at home and abroad, but also pay attention to the evolution of the international security background and the changes of the restrictive conditions brought about by it, grasp the internal clues and logic of the development and evolution of major issues, and form a systematic and verifiable knowledge system. The demand for national security in the new era has created a broader space for the development of military theory. And with the rich strategic and ideological heritage of Chinese civilization for reference, today's military theory innovation has very favorable conditions. However, strategy is a key factor in determining the fate of a country. Historic development has proved that the old road of colonialism and hegemonism is no longer feasible. In order to find a peaceful development road different from traditional power struggle, China has put forward higher requirements for military capacity-building and its application. National security also needs strong support from military practice and theory, and will inevitably become an important source of power for theoretical innovation.
