Abstract

At present, China's economy is moving from the middle level to high level, and has enter-ed a new stage from high-speed growth to high-quality development. It is necessary to further figu-re out the relationship between the government and the market, the government and the society, an-d create a new era of efficient service-oriented government. The transformation of government func-tions puts forward new requirements: improving public service functions, promoting social fairness and justice， adjusting social management functions, promoting the modernization of state governa-nce， strengthening market supervision functions, resisting downward pressure on the economy, refo-rming government institutions, cultivating social organizations, and innovating supervision method-s. In the end, realize the optimized development goals of government capability, society in order, a-nd market validity. Transforming government functions is not only an inevitable requirement for i-mproving the efficiency of the government, but also an inevitable requirement for enhancing the vit-ality of social development and promoting economic development.
