Abstract
Ideological and political education has always been an important part of higher education, which is a powerful guarantee to establish students' correct outlook on life, values and political concepts. Through the analysis of the actual situation of students' ideological and political education as an example for empirical analysis, combined with the teaching and management practice of College Students' ideological and political education, the current situation of students' ideological and political education is analyzed. From the perspective of students themselves, it is recommended to improve the new model of ideological and political education that reflects people-oriented and respect the individual development of students. The research shows that adhering to the principle of timely and accurate, people-oriented principle and credibility-oriented principle, attaching importance to personnel training, constructing the path of ideological and political education for vocational undergraduate talent training, and improving the effect of ideological and political education for undergraduate students is very important for cultivating advanced technical talents.
