On College English Teaching Mode in the Context of Free Trade Zone

Abstract
Under the background of the establishment of China's Free Trade Area, there are many challenges in foreign language education, such as the inadequacy of educational policies to adapt to the new development situation, the insufficient integration of teaching forces, the outdated foreign language training model and the insufficient foreign language teachers for special purposes. Based on the analysis of the current situation of College English teaching, this paper explores the teaching mode of College English from the perspective of constructivism theory and network learning community, and puts forward the teaching mode of College English based on network learning community. The basic framework, characteristics and advantages of the model are analyzed, in order to inspire the current college English teaching reform. The conclusion of this paper is that the teaching model can not only effectively improve the teaching quality, achieve the teaching goal, but also cultivate students' ability of self-learning.
