Abstract

In view of the phenomenon of "high marks and low abilities" in our country, universities in our country attach great importance to students’ ability to apply knowledge in the process of education. However, in the course of ancient literature, colleges and universities should always aim at inheriting excellent culture. Colleges and universities in ancient literature education should not only satisfy the education of students at the level of knowledge, but also carry out necessary humanistic education for students, and treat ancient literature teaching from the perspective of culture. The use of Ancient Literature Teaching in Colleges and universities in China can not only cultivate students’ patriotism, but also effectively enhance students' aesthetic ability, so that students can have confidence in our national culture. At present, there are still some problems in the teaching of ancient literature in Colleges and universities. In the era of vigorously promoting educational reform in China, the reform of Ancient Literature Teaching in Colleges and universities is also urgent. Colleges and universities in our country should constantly improve students’ cultural literacy by defining the teaching objectives of ancient literature, enriching teaching contents by using modern science and technology, and revealing the significance of ancient literature in modern times, so as to promote students to consciously and actively learn ancient culture.
