Abstract
The arrival of the era of big data not only brings convenience to our daily life, but also makes the development of education a qualitative leap. In the big data environment, visual communication design and creative curriculum teaching has ushered in unprecedented changes. The paper will briefly describe the characteristics of the era of big data, the development trend of visual communication design and creative curriculum teaching and the basic requirements of teaching. In order to adapt to the characteristics of the era of big data, it is an effective means to improve the teaching level of visual communication design creative courses.
