Abstract

Strengthening the humanistic quality education of college students is an important task facing colleges and universities at present. It is necessary to establish an English teaching mode of humanistic quality education. Based on the theory of constructivism, a teacher-led “student-centered” teaching concept is established. To organize and highlight the teaching content of cultural knowledge and humanistic knowledge; to promote cooperative learning and various learning activities to cultivate humanistic spirit of classroom organization. Establish a new college English teaching mode which embodies humanistic student achievement evaluation model and implements multi-level assessment model for students' learning situation. In order to analyze college English teaching, this paper analyzes the possibility of implementing humanistic education in college English teaching through humanistic education, and puts forward the requirements for the humanistic quality of college English teachers. It is necessary to use the position of English education to guide the majority of students to think deeply about the value orientation of life, and actively guide them to adjust the relationship between people and between man and nature, with the humanistic spirit of lifting up.
