Abstract
In view of the present situation of English listening teaching for non-English majors in colleges and universities in ethnic minority areas, this paper analyzes the unfavorable factors and obstacles which influence students' English listening comprehension, such as pronunciation, cultural backgrounds, psychological states and listening skills. Then the paper puts forward some effective measures to help students to overcome these problems and increase their comprehension, so as to promote the improvement of students' listening abilities.
