Abstract

Many people are no longer unfamiliar with new media, which refer to a new media form under the condition of informationization. Integrating information storage and dissemination, it has distinct and irreplaceable features and advantages. New media has had a long-term and profound impact on people’s work and study. In the field of education, the emergence of new media has provided tremendous opportunities for the transformation of many disciplines. This paper briefly introduces the many characteristics of new media and gives a way to construct an English teaching system based on new media.
