As the representative of Indo-European inflections, French has a relatively complete article system. As early as the beginning of the 20th century, Gustave Guillaume, a linguist in France, clarified the root cause of the problem of articles in French in his linguistic work Le problème de l’article et sa solution dans la langue française, which is human thinking activity.
