Abstract
Second language lexicon acquisition has been an important aspect in second language acquisition study. Different from the traditional researches, this paper tries to study second language lexical acquisition from a cognitive perspective. The application of the cognitive perspectives will help language learners and researchers better understand the second language lexical acquisition process, which will in turn reveal the nature of second language lexicon acquisition.
