Abstract
There are a lot of studies of politeness which focuses too much attention on verbal communication, and little attention has been paid to non-verbal communication. This paper is mainly about politeness in Chinese-American non-verbal intercultural communication by studying body language, the use of space, touch, and the concept of time.
