Abstract

The development of quality education is the actual demand of our country according to the needs of the times. Compared with the traditional education methods, quality education stresses the training of talents at many levels. Besides knowledge and skills, it requires students’ balanced development in psychology, physical education, moral character and art and other aspects. How to apply quality education in the teaching of art design in colleges and universities is a new requirement for teachers of this major. On the basis of defining the concept of quality education and exploring the development of quality education, this paper makes a deep thinking and analysis on the teaching of art design in colleges and universities, and puts forward several main application aspects.
