Abstract
With the changes of modern social structure, the reform of the superstructure that is not in line with social development has become the trend of the times. The reform and abolition of the imperial examination system has deeply affected the fate of many scholars and their families. The suspension of the imperial examination means the adjustment of the rules. The identity, status and fate of the scholars have also changed accordingly. The transition from traditional society to modern society has profound implications for the diversion to other social classes.
