Abstract
Colleges and universities are important cradles for training people for profession. Students in colleges and universities are the successors of socialist construction. Therefore, the ideological and political education in colleges and universities has been deeply concerned by all walks of life. Almost all the current college students are "post 90s" and "the generation after 00s". Unlike the generation in the 1970s and 1980s, they were influenced by multiculturalism from an early age. The old-fashioned ideological and political education model cannot achieve the educational goals very well. This paper first analyzes the challenges faced by current ideological and political education in colleges and universities, and then explores effective ideological and political education models based on the perspective of systems theory, and proposes relevant suggestions.
