Abstract

As people's knowledge level increases, the well-known translation has changed from a simple bilingual activity to an important subject. However, in the process of translation, the difference between Chinese and Western cultures will greatly affect the quality of translation. Especially for the translation of some important English and American literary works, this difference affects the translation effect of the works. This paper analyzes the differences between Chinese and Western cultures and studies the countermeasures for the translation of English and American literary works.
