Abstract

With the rapid development and widespread popularization of new media such as blogs, Weibo and WeChat, the new media environment has become the “reality environment” that current college students need to face in ideological and political education. Based on the perspective of new media environment, it examines the ideological and political education of college students. It not only has a new connotation, but also highlights the distinctive features of openness, equality, timeliness, artistry and diversity. This provides the innovation of ideological and political education for college students in China. It has expanded new opportunities for college students' ideological and political education, enriched the new means of ideological and political education for college students, and enhanced the new effectiveness of ideological and political education for college students.
