Abstract

With the continuous development of China's economy and the improvement of various infrastructures, air transportation has gradually become the main force of domestic transport of personnel and material transportation. At present, China’s national living standards continue to improve, and the pace of life is accelerating, leading to higher and higher requirements for the speed of cargo transportation. Therefore, air transportation has become the main mode of domestic cargo transportation due to its rapidity, safety and convenience. This paper mainly discusses the problems and countermeasures of cargo transportation of Haikou airport in China. The city of Haikou is the capital of Hainan Province and the main distribution center of Hainan air transportation. The efficiency and management mode of cargo transport at Haikou Airport have an important impact on the material import and export and economic development of Hainan Province. In particular, Hainan Province is one of the most southern Island provinces in China. It is also the main producing area of tropical fruits. The import and export of goods depend on air transportation. Hence, it is necessary to manage the air cargo transport mode of Haikou Airport to promote the economic development of Hainan Province and improve economic efficiency. This paper briefly introduces the characteristics of Haikou air transportation, and then points out the development status of Haikou aviation industry and puts forward some countermeasures for the development of Haikou's aviation industry according to the analysis of the status quo.
