Abstract

This paper attempts to elaborate the importance of grammar teaching at college from its relation with four important linguistic skills, that is listening, speaking reading and writing. Grammar is an indispensable part in the cultivation of the four skills, without which, language cannot be mastered systematically and its communicative function cannot be achieved effectively.
