Abstract
The prospect of high-performance building materials applied more extensively in engineering projects as construction industry increasingly demands structural performance, durability and energy efficiency. Although these materials can greatly improve the overall quality of the project, service life and construction methods, their properties also put forward higher requirements for construction management and quality control. The quality control mechanism of engineering supervision is an important part to ensure the construction quality and safety, which is even more prominent when applied to high-performance materials. Thus, this paper analyzes the construction supervision process from material acceptance and storage management to construction process control, quality testing and monitoring methods and finally risk prevention and emergency management. This analysis is derived from an investigation of the performance characteristics and current application status of high-performance building materials. From this analysis, suggestions are made to improve the engineering supervision system. These include: 1. Applying information-based supervision methods 2. Implementing optimized standardized processes, as well as focused professional training so that can improve the controllability and reliability of high-performance building materials construction quality. The outcomes of the research lay down some theoretical foundations and practical guidance for construction enterprises that are using engineering supervision with high-performance materials.
