Abstract
The focus of this paper is on the generic essentials of schedule, cost, quality and safety control in construction project management. It sorts out the core contents and optimization paths of these four elements by means of sorting out the management logic and operation details. The methods have been summarized as task decomposition and dynamic scheduling for schedule management, full-cycle budgeting and loss control for cost management, full-process inspection and closed-loop rectification for quality management throughout engineering, risk identification and safety measure implementation in accordance with safety management. It also expounds on some optimization techniques such as the background for introducing dynamic instruments and detailed cost accounting, offering valuable references for improving construction project efficiency and quality management.
