Abstract
Industry-Academia Integration closely aligns academic research with industrial demands, leveraging deep collaboration between industry and universities to drive economic development and social progress. This paper takes Industry-University-Research collaboration as its starting point. It begins by analyzing the historical context of the digital transformation in the cultural and tourism industry. Subsequently, based on the current development status of Industry-Academia Integration, it examines the challenges faced in applying this model to the cultural and tourism sector. Building on the opportunities presented by the current wave of industrial digital transformation, the paper proposes countermeasures. These strategies include: establishing communication platforms to enhance the alignment of supply and demand between industry and academia; deepening strategic cooperation models to intensify collaboration; and improving personnel exchange mechanisms to optimize talent cultivation models. By increasing the promotion of new digital infrastructure in cultural tourism, these measures aim to foster the integration of production, education, and research, thereby accelerating the digital transformation of the cultural and tourism industry.
