Abstract
In the digital age, it is very important to study the ideological and political education (IPE) work in universities and the optimization of the training mode of applied undergraduate talents. This article focuses on how to optimize the training mode of applied undergraduate talents through IPE work in universities. By using the methods of literature study and case analysis, this article deeply analyzes the relationship between IPE work and talent training in universities under the digital background, explores the path of optimizing talent training mode in IPE work, and puts forward corresponding safeguard measures. It is found that ideological and political guidance can promote the remolding of personnel training objectives, improve the curriculum system with IPE resources, and strengthen practical ability with ideological and political practice. Futhermore, building a collaborative mechanism, improving teachers' ability and creating a good atmosphere can effectively guarantee the optimization effect. This article aims to provide reference for universities to optimize the training mode of applied undergraduate talents through IPE work in the digital era, and help universities to cultivate high-quality applied talents that meet the needs of the times.
