Abstract
In response to the problems in the guidance for high school students' college admission under the new college entrance examination system, such as the "emphasis on scores only", the neglect of students' comprehensive qualities, and the low satisfaction with the admission choices, this paper conducts an investigation and research based on the career constructivist theory and vocational education theory. It employs questionnaire surveys and interviews to analyze the reasons for the disconnection between college admission guidance and career planning, and proposes solutions such as improving policy support, optimizing the school guidance system, guiding family participation, and correcting students' cognitive biases. The practice has proved that this method can significantly enhance the scientificity of college admission guidance and students' satisfaction.
