Abstract
As a critical link in construction project management, whole-process cost control runs through all stages of a project, including decision-making, design, tendering and bidding, construction, and completion settlement. Effective whole-process cost control can reasonably determine and effectively control project costs, enhancing the economic and social benefits of construction projects. This paper deeply analyzes the characteristics of cost control at various stages of construction project management and proposes specific strategies for strengthening whole-process cost control, aiming to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for construction project cost management.
