Abstract

With the increasing demand for cultural heritage protection, digital technology, as an innovative means, plays an important role in the protection and development and utilization of museum resources. Combining digital technology with traditional industrial museums can further optimize the management methods and services of industrial museums, and present the history of industrial relics that cannot be exhibited due to the restriction of traditional modes using digital technology, thus shortening the distance between the audience and industrial history and exhibits. As an important cultural carrier, the Shenyang Museum of History faces multiple challenges such as aging of cultural relics resources, environmental impact and protection pressure. This study aims to explore the innovative protection and development and utilization mode of museum resources based on digital technology, analyze the current status of the application of technology and the problems it faces, and put forward a practical and innovative mode. Through the in-depth analysis of digital technology in cultural relics protection, data storage and management, virtual display and other aspects, combined with the specific situation of the Shenyang Museum of History, put forward the optimization path of digital protection and development. Digital technology can not only effectively improve the protection efficiency of museum resources, but also expand the space of its development and utilization, providing new opportunities for cultural dissemination and academic research. This study provides theoretical support and practical guidance for the Shenyang Museum of History in the process of digital transformation, and promotes the sustainable development of museum resources.
