Abstract

In view of the poor effect of indoctrinating ideological and political education in vocational colleges, the lack of personalized education, and the atmosphere of ideological and political education in campus cultural activities to be optimized, according to the correlation theory of music education and ideological and political education, literature research method and field investigation method were used to analyze the causes of the problems, and the promotion mechanism of music education to ideological and political education was found out. Some solutions are put forward, such as enriching the content of music course, developing diversified music activities and innovating teaching methods. Practice has proved that music education in colleges and universities can effectively help ideological and political education work, improve students 'moral cultivation and comprehensive quality, and provide a new way for colleges and universities to implement the task of cultivating morality and cultivating people.
