Abstract
Driven by the wave of globalization, cultural exchanges and mutual learning have become an important driving force for promoting world diversity and common development. Confucianism has exerted a profound influence on the spiritual world and value system of the Chinese nation. This article aims to explore the propagation path, significance and influence of Confucianism in overseas media, and analyze its challenges and future development direction. In order to achieve this goal, this article adopts a combination of qualitative and analytical methods. By combing the basic connotation of Confucianism and reviewing its international communication process, it focuses on the performance of Confucianism in the main overseas communication paths such as traditional media, new media and social media. Futhermore, this article also discusses the positive influence of Confucianism on overseas cultural cognition, international exchange and cooperation and the concept of global governance. The research results show that Confucianism is widely spread overseas through diversified media channels, which enhances the world's understanding and respect for China culture, provides strong cultural support for international exchanges and cooperation, and has a positive impact on the concept of global governance.
