Abstract
In this study, the synergistic effect of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in tumor treatment was discussed. 200 patients with malignant tumor were randomly divided into experimental group (EG) and control group (CG). EG received TCM combined with western medicine, while CG only received western medicine. The experimental period was 6 months, and TCM scheme was individualized and treated according to syndrome differentiation. The results show that EG combined with TCM is superior to CG only treated with western medicine in reducing tumor markers, improving immune function, improving quality of life and reducing side effects, suggesting that TCM can improve the survival rate and reduce the burden, and enhance the therapeutic effect through mechanisms such as tumor inhibition and immunomodulation. TCM plays a synergistic role in tumor treatment, enhancing the therapeutic effect and reducing the burden on patients.
