Abstract
This article aims to explore the application of multiple intelligences theory in piano performance teaching, with a view to solving the problems existing in current piano teaching and promoting the all-round development of students through this innovative educational concept. Firstly, this article introduces the basic concept of multiple intelligences theory and its importance in music education, and makes clear the research background and significance. Then, the specific application strategies of the theory of multiple intelligences in piano playing teaching are deeply discussed, including the combination of linguistic intelligence and musical intelligence, the application of logical mathematics intelligence in music rhythm teaching, the combination of visual space intelligence and musical imagination, the application of body kinesthetic intelligence in piano playing skill training, and the cultivation of interpersonal intelligence and self-evaluation intelligence. The research results show that the application of the theory of multiple intelligences can significantly improve students' playing skills, musical understanding and expressive force, and bring a new breakthrough to piano playing teaching. In the future educational practice, we should continue to deepen the research and application of this theory, and contribute to the cultivation of more outstanding music talents.
