Abstract
Amidst the ongoing educational reforms, embedding ideological and Political Education within college-level English instruction has emerged as a crucial direction for talent development in higher education institutions. This paper delves into the imperative of integrating ideological and Political Education into college English, investigating pathways to effective fusion through curriculum structuring, instructional content, pedagogical strategies, and evaluative frameworks. By utilizing diverse instructional techniques, this integration seeks to enhance students’ linguistic abilities alongside their ideological and political acumen. Practical implementation is illustrated through specific instructional cases, with analysis of student feedback and tangible outcomes. Additionally, this paper addresses challenges encountered in the integration process and suggests responsive strategies, aiming to offer theoretical insights and practical guidance for advancing ideological and Political Education within college English curricula.
