As an emerging educational concept, smart education emphasizes the use of digital technology to enhance the quality of education and learning outcomes. The digital literacy of college teachers has become a key factor affecting the success of educational reform. Teachers are not only knowledge transmitters but also guides for students' learning and promoters of educational innovation. Therefore, improving the digital literacy of college teachers, especially within the smart education ecology, is of particular importance. This study aims to explore the current status, issues, and improvement strategies of college teachers' digital literacy in the context of smart education ecology, providing theoretical support and practical guidance for educational practice.
