Abstract
This paper delves into the exploration and analysis of marine diesel engine fault diagnosis technology. Its objective is to uncover the core issues and trends in current technology through comprehensive research and propose effective solutions to enhance ship operational safety and maintenance efficiency. Initially, the introduction underscores the significance of marine diesel engine fault diagnosis, highlighting its role as a pivotal component in marine power systems for ensuring ship operations, preventing accidents, and minimizing maintenance expenses. It also acknowledges the challenges posed by accuracy, real-time responsiveness, and adaptability to diverse operating conditions. Regarding research methodologies, the paper undertakes a comparative analysis of various fault diagnosis techniques, establishing a theoretical framework tailored for marine diesel engines. Furthermore, it consolidates the advancements in marine diesel engine fault diagnosis technology, accentuates the importance of intelligent and remote technologies, and outlines future research avenues. Looking ahead, the emphasis should be on fostering technological innovation and interdisciplinary integration to address the growing complexities of fault diagnosis, thereby bolstering the safe and efficient operation of the shipbuilding sector with robust technical backing.
