Abstract
With the swift progress of the construction industry, assembly buildings have garnered significant attention and application due to their benefits of high efficiency, energy conservation, and environmental protection. Prefabricated components, being the essential parts of assembly buildings, are critical in enhancing building quality, shortening construction time, and reducing costs by optimizing their design and production processes. This paper begins by exploring the fundamental concepts of assembly buildings and prefabricated components, as well as their current applications. It then delves into various optimized design methods for prefabricated components, such as modular design, structural performance optimization, material selection, and the incorporation of green design and sustainability principles. Following this, the paper examines the production process of precast components in detail, addressing key production steps, quality control and management, and measures for optimizing the production process.Through analyzing case studies of real-world projects, the paper highlights the practical applications and challenges of prefabricated components, and offers insights into their future development. The aim of this study is to provide valuable references and guidance for advancing the assembly construction industry.
