Abstract
At present, the level of digitalization in various business segments of multimodal transport is generally low. Management information such as one-stop booking, loading and shipping, dynamic container tracking, station freight volume statistics, and order list inquiries have not been interconnected, forming a management closed loop. This paper proposes a scheme for the construction of a digital logistics platform, utilizing resource integration and service collaboration to enhance operational management and improving customers’ experiences by creating a one-stop logistics service and providing diversified service models through comprehensive logistics services. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed scheme and digital logistics platform have been validated in the sea-rail intermodal business of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Port Logistics Co., Ltd.
