Abstract
Textile and garment is China's traditional advantage industry, and China's textile industry ranks first in the world. In the post-epidemic era, the growth of residents' income has slowed down and the consumer market has recovered slowly, and the domestic sales pressure of the textile and garment industry is continuing to intensify. The industry continues to expand the scale of production; excess capacity, inventory backlog phenomena are becoming more and more common. The exports have been in the forefront of the world for a long time, but export pressure of the industry has increased significantly in recent years. Two main reasons are: (1) the dividend of China's labor force is gradually disappearing. (2) The export market is too concentrated and the ability to resist risks is weak. Cross-border e-commerce can significantly improve the efficiency of global resource allocation and strengthen economic ties between countries, and it is expected to become a new engine for the China's foreign trade. SHEIN fashion e-commerce is a typical example, the vigorous Chinese cross-border e-commerce provides a new window for the product exports. The e-commerce can provide many opportunities in the global transportation system and international markets. Meanwhile, challenges from rising labor costs, technical barriers to trade and changes in the international landscape need to be considered.
