Abstract
With the advent of the big data era, the construction of disciplines in ordinary universities is undergoing profound changes. In this context, universities need to clarify that data-driven disciplinary innovation and development are the guiding principles. By building a big data-driven disciplinary innovation platform, they can promote interdisciplinary integration and collaborative development, break down traditional disciplinary barriers, and form a comprehensive research force. Strengthen practical teaching, introduce big data technology and tools, enhance students' practical ability and comprehensive quality, in order to meet the new demand for talents in society. Strengthening the construction of the teaching staff, introducing and cultivating teachers with big data skills and teaching experience, is the key to improving the quality of education and teaching. Improving the evaluation and incentive mechanism of disciplines, stimulating the internal driving force of disciplinary development, is crucial for enhancing the competitiveness and influence of disciplines. Through the implementation of these strategies, ordinary universities will be able to achieve continuous innovation and development in disciplinary construction under the background of big data.
