Abstract
With the deepening development of globalization, cross-cultural research on European and American literary works is increasingly valued. This article mainly focuses on the comparative analysis of cross-cultural characteristics, character images, narrative techniques, and cultural conflicts and integration in European and American literary works. Research has shown that cultural background significantly impacts European and American literary works, and there are significant differences in cross-cultural themes, character shaping, and narrative techniques in the works, while also referring to the process of cultural conflict and integration. The conclusion drawn from this article is that cross-cultural research on European and American literature from a cross-cultural perspective can help promote cross-cultural understanding of literary works and promote cross-cultural research in European and American literature.
