Abstract
Urban farming is fast becoming a pivotal element in mitigating the threats associated with higher urban density and the bit of arable land that is available within urban settings. The project develops pilot urban horticulture methods that may be an effective solution to how the exploration of new possibilities in urban agriculture by infusing supportive policy structure. In this investigation, the researchers employed qualitative methods of analysing secondary data from the official Chinese reports and media interviews, as well as illustrations of the case examples of New York, Tokyo, and Singapore. The targets of farmers are to look at creative methods and how technology could enhance the yield and sustainability of urban agriculture. Furthermore, the study looks into the power of existing policies that, in turn, impact urban farms in terms of expansion and development. The results are evidence of the possibility of helping the cities in their self-sustainability and resource management processes by incorporating new and inventive ways of urban farming and legal regulation frameworks in decision-making processes.
