Abstract

With the advent of an aging society, how to create a safe, convenient and comfortable public space environment for the elderly has become an urgent problem to be solved. As an important achievement of modern science and technology, intelligent technology provides new ideas and solutions for the design of elderly-friendly public spaces. This article aims to explore the application of intelligent technology in the design of elderly-friendly public space and its influence on the quality of life of the elderly. This article first discusses the application of intelligent technology in elderly-friendly public spaces, and then collects the data of elderly people's application effect and satisfaction with intelligent technology through questionnaire survey, field observation and in-depth interview. The research results show that intelligent technology has achieved remarkable results in improving the convenience, safety and comfort of elderly-friendly public spaces, and has a positive impact on the quality of life of the elderly. Based on this, it is concluded that intelligent technology is an effective means to improve the environment of elderly-friendly public space and improve the quality of life of the elderly. At the same time, specific policy suggestions and practical guidance are put forward for the government, designers and technology developers.
