Abstract
This study aims to explore the application and value of Confucianism in modern social governance. Through in-depth analysis of the core concepts and characteristics of Confucianism, combined with the actual needs of modern social governance, this study found that there are many similarities between Confucianism and modern social governance concepts. Confucianism plays a significant role in enhancing the moral quality of citizens, enhancing social cohesion, promoting the construction of a harmonious society, and supplementing and supporting the construction of the rule of law. However, Confucianism also has certain limitations in its application and needs to be combined with modern management concepts and scientific technology to better play its role. Looking ahead to the future, the application prospects of Confucianism in social governance are broad, and it is expected to provide strong support for building a more harmonious and stable society. This study adopts a combination of literature analysis, theoretical exploration, and empirical research to draw the conclusion that Confucianism has important value in modern social governance, providing useful references for research and practice in related fields.
